SmartDoc is Patterson EagleSoft's dynamic document manager. Create and save new electronic documents and reports for patients and providers and for the practice. Integrated with InTouch letters, create document templates and attach electronic signatures to documents using the digital signature pad. Once the document has been signed, the signature is embedded in the document, and the document cannot be altered. Mark documents as private, and only the user who created the document will have access to view it.

SmartDoc gives your practice the tools you need to be paperless in an efficient manner. You no longer need to scan in the medical history because the original signed document is saved in SmartDoc . When a patient calls in with a question about a billing statement, view an exact copy of the patient’s statement in SmartDoc . Prior End of Day and End of Month financial reports are right at your fingertips, and you won’t have to search through files to find the report you need.
